Jasson Zurilgen C.H.E.K Practitioner

Jasson has been training throughout his entire life to improve movement technique in order to excel at a particular sport or activity. He has a long history of participation in many sports and outdoor activities, such as hiking, climbing, scrambling, baseball, football, martial arts and skateboarding. He credits these experiences as being the learning platform that has enabled him to gain a strong understanding of a balanced body and healthy lifestyle. I believe that by becoming conscious within movement you can open the door to overall health awareness and improve the quality of your life.” Early into his training career Jasson began to truly realize the importance of Nutrition, not only for it's role in proper muscle and joint function, but also the positive effect it has on the overall health and performance of the body.“ I realize that I feel great when I eat great. Making that association completely changed the way I look at my food. My food is the fuel and medicine for my body, so the better I eat the better my body performs." Since beginning as a trainer Jasson has been Nationally certified through APEX and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has most recently obtained Practitioner Level through the C.H.E.K Institute where he continues to pursue his education in exercise and sports science.

His studies helped him clearly understand the relationship of good nutrition, exercise and health.  After graduation and upon moving to the Seattle area in September of 2001, he began his career as a personal trainer. “I was immediately taken with this profession. Shawn Farmer B.S., TPI C.G.F.I

The Fitness Caddie

Shawn is a Titleist Certified Golf Fitness Instructor who also holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Eastern Washington University.  It was in college that Shawn began to take interest in understanding the body and how exercise affected athletic performance.  She competed all four years on the golf team at Eastern, training endless hours and traveling all over the country.  As her body began to break down from overtraining, Shawn sought out new ways to approach the off season workouts in order to stay healthy and at the top of her game.  The end result was 7 strokes off her 18 hole average, her handicap decreased to a 1, and she added 40 yards to her driver.  Since making those improvements, Shawn has worked in the fitness industry for seven years teaching everything from group fitness and yoga classes, to working in private studios, and now as The Fitness Caddie.  One of the most unique services Shawn provides is a Functional Movement Screen designed by Titleist to identify every limitation in the body as it relates to the golf swing.  This is the same screening process that many of the players on the PGA Tour use to keep their games at the highest level.  In addition to her work as a personal trainer, Shawn also coaches the Girls’ Varsity Golf Team at the Overlake School where they have won two league championships and 1A State Championship in her three years there.  When not on the golf course, Shawn enjoys running and loves training for events with clients.  She also plays flag football and rides horses.  She believes in having fun, laughing, training hard and effectively, and making workouts something to look forward to!!
